My vision is to see computer science become a more diverse field where women and other students in underrepresented groups have the tools and opportunities needed to succeed. Towards that end, I am interested in exploring creative solutions to both recruit and retain women in technology.

Right now, I am involved in the RENEW-CS grant, which is a large initiative to expand efforts in CSE to increase the number of women studying computing. In particular, I run EECS 110: Discover CS, a two-credit class introducing students to computer science.
